Saint issue #3 cover complete!

 

I am super excited to finally reveal my cover for Saint issue #3 published by Urban Senat LLC.

 

If you have been following this series then you know this is my first cover for this series although I have done all of the artwork in issue #2 as well. Got the call to do my version of the cover for this issue and I was so excited. Be sure to order your copy online or pick up one at a comic convention near you and if you happen to catch me at a convention bring this book and I will sign it for free and tell you how awesome you are to have gotten this book.

Saint issue #3 Released and Now Available!

Saint is ©  Wayne Jackson and Urban Senate LLC.

So after getting word that Saint issue #3 was going to the printers I was very anxious to receive my copy considering that I had spent so many hours working very diligently to create a book that I myself and Wayne Jackson would be very proud of.

After completing Saint issue #2 I honestly wasn't 100% happy with the final result mostly due to my artwork and my unfamiliarity of the characters involved in the Saint universe and therefore I decided that I would spend more time in fleshing out the characters in this issue.

I am always pushing my art further and I feel as if the timing worked very well for the artwork and the story in this issue.

On Monday, After opening the mail and having an opportunity to sit down and finally view the final results I was pleasantly surprised at how great the book looks.

It's now been several years of working with Wayne Jackson bringing his epic Saint comic series to life but I am currently as excited about working on the next issue as I am working on the previous issues and looking forward to seeing how far we can push the envelope in Saint issue #4...

Going digital with my designs still is not as comfortable as I would like it to be but im sure with more practice and tutorials I will learn to adjust to have more fun doing what I already love to do.

Saint #3 production continues...

Ok with all the work that im doing these days I am happy to be getting ever closer to the final stages of this book. Its more pages than I have drawn in a long time (40 pages) and has taken longer to get done than usual but I believe that in the end it will surely be worth the wait by Saint fans and fans of my artwork. It's going to be crazy but im working hard to get this baby done before the holidays.

Here is my concept art for Saint 3 character General Peczersky one of the main characters in this series.
 I continue to work on my color technigue and leaning more towards concept design now i feel like i may be turning a corner with my rendering. Ive been told that i am a good concept designer but have to keep working on my coloring etc. So as i continue to design more characters i will be pushing myself more and more.

Saint 3 Production Update!

Production continues on the upcoming 3rd issue to the Urban Senates Saint saga Written and Created by Wayne Jackson with art by @ErikReevesart. With so many projects working at the same time i thought i would let fans of this series know that it is coming along just fine even though its not finished as soon as im sure fans would like im working extra hard to make sure it will be worth the wait!

Alumnus Emily Noether is the latest character design I have done for the upcoming Saint 3 series. Im pretty happy with the way this design came out considering it is based on a real person thanks to the series producers. I am looking forward to finishing up this project soon.

Dallas Comic Con 10

I will be a guest at this years Dallas Comic Con 10 convention located in Irving, Texas

this weekend May 19th -20th. Be sure to come by and purchase some books or get an original sketch done by me.  Remember to bring any items you currently own that i was envolved in creatively and i will be more than happy to sign it no charge.

With the completion of Hoodratz  In Space very near i decided to go with an Aock avatar during this years convention weekend. Its been a very busy year for me and i look forward to seeing all my fans at this years Dallas Comic Con year 10.
