Hello 2014!

 

As the year 2013 comes to an end I decided to take some time to reflect on some of the good events of this past year, And while doing so take some time to thank the peeps that made an incredible impact in my career this year!

HOODRATZ IN SPACE #1

 

 

From the Success of our first Kickstarter campaign to the reaction of our very loyal fans and peers, to the sales of our book, everything about Hoodratz In Space #1 was incredible last year!

Me and writer Jackie Cannon had no idea it would have made such an impact as it has on our creative careers.

With our second Kickstarter campaign already successfully funded we look forward to seeing what response Hoodratz In Space #2 will get in 2014.

 

 

THROWD COMICS

Throwd the comic series got an incredible opportunity to have a spin off series in the pages of Urban Harem Magazine entitled

Throwd :Diamonds and Divas and has gotten nothing but great reviews!

Looking forward to continuing this great series in 2014 so be sure to look for it in the pages of Urban Harem Magazine.

THE UNPROFESSIONALS

Definitely one of my most memorable projects I was fortunate enough to be apart of and my first cover for such a high profile title. Surely one of the reasons I believed Hoodratz In Space could be successful was after seeing this projects success after my contribution to it. Lots of important lessons where also learned while working on this project preparing me for whatever project I am apart of next.

Not a single word can describe how excited I am about this project took me and entire year and a half to complete this 40 page book and in 2014 it will be available for all of my fans to see.

 

MARVEL / UPPERDECK

 

Continued to produce sketchcards for these cool peeps and still get paid to do so! Looking forward to doing more sketchcards for 2014.

SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2013

 

 

Had such a great time again attending this years Convention and meeting new peeps! I had a blast catching up with the cool friends I have had the pleasure of for many years now and as always learned more new and exciting things about the industry I love so much.

Not sure how it happened but I now have some incredible Fans behind me and I'm looking forward to not disappointing them in 2014!

Dallas Comic Con 10

I will be a guest at this years Dallas Comic Con 10 convention located in Irving, Texas

this weekend May 19th -20th. Be sure to come by and purchase some books or get an original sketch done by me.  Remember to bring any items you currently own that i was envolved in creatively and i will be more than happy to sign it no charge.

With the completion of Hoodratz  In Space very near i decided to go with an Aock avatar during this years convention weekend. Its been a very busy year for me and i look forward to seeing all my fans at this years Dallas Comic Con year 10.

Fantastic Kick!

The Unprofessionals is now completely funded!

Excited to wake up this morning only to find out that the Kickstarter project -The Unprofessionals, a sociopathic bromance graphic novel by Alexis Cruz (Drag me to hell, Stargate)and Mythmakers Group got completely funded!

I feel very fortunate to be apart of this dream become reality!
