MOON KNIGHT submission pages begin!

So my incredible fans have spoken and thanks to a recent poll I posted on Twitter I have decided to agree with them and I will do the MoonKnight script as my latest submission to the cool peeps at MARVEL Comics.

This will be the first in a long time that I have worked on submission pages since I have been so busy doing my creator owned and several cool independent comics for several years now.

Decided that if the support of my fans is what helps me do my own comics the best I can why not include them in the process of sending my submissions to MARVEL.

So strap in and get ready to go step by step with me to see if we can finally get a chance to do some comics for one of the BIG 3!

I will be posting and updating every step of the way and you can get the first looks by signing up with my Patreon here

But even if you don't sign up you will still get to see my progress as I post updates regularly!

Let the Moon be our guide...

Stay tuned!

Not so New Marvel Test Plot!

So it took me some time but I finally found my old "New Marvel Test Plot" mixed in with several old comic scripts I have collected over the years.

Why this script? Lets just say this script scared the hell out of me and no matter how many times I tried to do the pages I was never happy with my results and would just move on to something that was easier for me to do like create my own story.

Yep I had what an industry friend likes to call the "Snakes in the head" and could not shake it for years I just believed I was just not good enough to dare try to work on anything related to the big 3 and oh how I had dreamed of working for them and I believe that I wanted to do so so bad that I just got to anxious and messed up everytime.

Took me years to finally understand that no I dont have to draw like any of the incredibly talented artist that had worked hard to to get a gig with any of the companies I so wanted to work for.  After working on other independent comic projects for years I developed the confindence to take another shot at it now.

Looking forward to doing the thumbnails for these 6 pages ASAP so stay tuned for more updates!

Mainstream Madness begins!

So in case you didn't know I have been doing comics for a little over 20 years although I may have only found my comfort zone when it comes to my style of art within the last 2-3 years.

Over the years I've had the opportunity to work with so many cool people doing there own independent comics that it actually allowed me to learn how to draw comics and get paid while doing so. I have tried to get work with Marvel and DC over the years but my art was not good enough and a lot of it had to do with the way I was approaching doing my comics. I always had the idea that I had to draw exactly the way some of the top artists at these companies were drawing, this left me feeling inadequate and like I would never be good enough to draw for these incredible companies.

So I worked in Video Games for a few years and thought I was safe well that didn't last long at all after a couple of years the company I was working for went belly up and I was back to doing freelance comic work. Got lucky a few years back and landed some work with Upperdeck doing Marvel licensed sketch cards and truly enjoy doing so since it helped me lose my fear of drawing Marvel characters.

Now I feel I am ready to make another run at doing comics for either Marvel or one of the other Giant comic companies and this time I will go by the rules....submission rules that is. I've always been good with chatting with the Editors and they have always been kind to me even forgiving in one instance.

but since I have been lucky enough to have a incredible fan base despite the fact I haven't done one comic for the Big 3 I  figured I would share my experience with each and every one of you as I once again attempt to accomplish my biggest dream of all time. Doing mainstream comics.

Let the Madness Begin!!!
